If you like the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice (it's GREAT), then you might like Wives and Daughters. Clarissa and I really enjoyed it. Added: We checked it out from the public library. I think it was originally shown as a mini series. Netflix has it, but I don't know about other rental places.

I want to see that, did your video store have it to rent? I can never find movies like that. Our PBS is doing the entire Jane Austen series on Masterpiece theater. I record it each Sunday to watch. I love those stories! They have only done Emma and Sense and Sensibility so far.
