I've had this old, falling apart cabinet for about three years. It's an estate sale find and was 20$ (too high really). I finally painted it and added fabric inserts. To make the inserts you just take a piece of cardboard and glue on a little cotton batting, then wrap with fabric, and hot glue everything in place.
The opening where the inserts go is really wonky- I'm going to have to add a bit of cording around the fabric edges to cover some bloopers- but it looks better than it did originally :0)
The chair is also a yard sale find. Originally a 20$ ugly is now covered with Ikea fabric purchased on sale for $1.99 a yard. There is a post about that under decorating. Thanks for stopping by!
