I found these little birds at the dollar store- and they look just exactly like something you'd find at the dollar store:o) The paint is too bright, well, need I say more? I wanted something classier. So, I spray painted them with Rustoleum ivory satin spray paint. Two dollars, a little paint and thirty minutes later they were ready to find a perch- I like them much better now.

Jana, you are so creative. You are able to see beyond what's really there. I love what you did with the birds.
Much better. I love them. It looks like you found a craft. (:
Those birdies look very happy with their makeover! AAHHHH, the wonders of spray paint!
I love the title of your blog. It made me want to start singing as I looked through your posts. You did such a fantastic job making over the little black cabinet and I LOVE the recovered black and white chair! (I noticed them along with many other great projects and yummy recipes)
You are one very creative lady!!!
I am going to post about them at DollarStoreCrafts.com!

Oh those are super cute! I've GOT to get to the dollar store!
Someone else posted these too and I can't believe how cute they turned out!!
Love the birds! I keep looking for some for my house, but haven't found them yet.
Love those little birdies! Jen
Hahaha, we did the same thing! But, those birds really do look awesome painted in one uniform color. I'm thinking about doing some in a funky color, like yellow or red.

Those turned out perfect!
I've seen a lot of white birds out there that I didn't care for but yours turned out super cute.
I'm almost ready to head to my local dollar store.
Those are stinkin' cute! I think I need to head to the dollar store.
I'm the other person Thrifty Decor Chick is talking about! I did these same birds for her spray paint party.
But I found you from Lindsay's $5 challenge. Your jelly bean entry is so cute. And I love the cabinet you redid (black w/ green fabric).
